Sustainability Planning

Client: Abu Dhabi Airport Company

L&B developed comprehensive airport sustainability Planning and Design Guidelines for all five Abu Dhabi Airport Company (ADAC) airports to support ADAC’s sustainability goals. The overall vision of the Guidelines is to perform all aspects of administration, operations, maintenance, planning, design and construction to the highest and best standards of Sustainability Practices. The Guidelines complement and encourage project certification by Estidama as part of the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council. The Guidelines also establish metric performance standards that are tied to activity levels, with performance goals that are reinforced through incentives for staff, tenants, contractors, and the traveling public.
